Hello ladies!
Back again for my third and final Jenny Craig post.
I have learned a lot over this past month. First, I have learned that it really is not that hard to lose and/or maintain weight. It is a simple formula. Calories in, calories out, exercise yadda yadda. We all know this deep down, it is just the putting your mind to it and DOING it that is half the battle. I know how to eat right, I just have to DO it! Ha ha. Easier said than done right? Well I feel like Jenny Craig is a great program that teaches you about healthy lifestyle eating. It is a change you have to make on a daily basis. There is no magic fix, it is a slow, natural process that in time will become a way of eating and living.
What I really enjoyed about the program, was the one on one attention I got from my fab consultant, Kerstin. She took the time to talk to me and help me solve little problems (for example, she gave me some low calorie drink recipes!), and she really helped me tailor the program to my specific needs.
I also LOVED the food. I think I am addicted, ha.
My favorite breakfast?
Breakfast scramble, with Frank’s RedHot sauce of course ;)
My favorite lunch was the Broccoli and Cheese baked potato. Heavenly!
Favorite dinner? Chicken Carbonara!
And let’s not forget about the Cheesecake. HELLO. So good.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the program. I am undecided at this point if I will continue on this specific program or not. Like I said, I KNOW how to eat right, and now that I have put my mind to it, I am well on my way to reaching my goals! I am down a little over five pounds, which is great. I know I probably could have lost more if I had made a more solid attempt to cut out those cocktails, he he. I definitely want to lose about 15 more pounds. My ONLY hesitation with continuing the program is the financial obligations. Granted, it is not crazy expensive, but it’s still more than I would spend making smart, educated decisions on my own at the store. So we will see what I decide to do!
Have any questions for me about the program? Any comments? I would love to hear what you think. If you are like me and weight has always been a source of stress, you are so not alone sister! But remember life is SO much bigger then what size jeans you wear. But luckily, you have the choice to do something about it! Just don’t get crazy on me now ;) haha
Comment with your thoughts, questions for your chance to win a $100 Visa gift card from Jenny Craig and BlogHer!
{ps, down five pounds!}
Hopefully soon I will be back down to this weight, back when I was a little college girl! Ha ha. SO YOUNG! Geez….
Xoxo lovelies.
